RaceServers Serious Racing League

RaceServers.net has servers for lease, either by time slots or 24/7 N2003 and many mods.

ACDM(Active Cheat Detection Monitor) is available to leagues at RaceServers to help create a fair playing field for the racing community.  ACDMis a system so it is not just software and requires a database server, client and software to work.  Active Cheat Detection Monitoring actually ejects a driver from the race, so you don't have to look through info, like other systems out there.  As an admin you can race and have fun as any ejections are recorded in the chat.  Read more about ACDM under the Cheat Detection button to the left.

So if your interested in a server lease as a league admin, please contact: CJ

About Us

RaceServers.net was developed to enhance the online racing experience. Originally, software was developed to launch races and provide for an automated way to collect rankings from various servers without drivers needing to send in files. This automated method is a much more accurate method since files cannot be altered, and no work is required of the drivers to remember to send in files.  Our software has expanded from our ranking system, which has been the longest running ranking system available to the SIM community since TEN, to a  Cheat Detection Monitoring system to check for cheats.  We are continuing to offer new options and software that improves and enhances league racing as well  as pickup racing, for those that like to race anytime.  Our ability to offer the pickup servers has been supported through donations we receive. We believe allowing drivers to be able to setup races anytime through the pickup servers, allows drivers to hone their skills, and hopefully gives new drivers a place to learn so that they can gain some skill in order to be able to run in a league.

Our philosophy at RaceServers.net is to have drivers be able to come to a place to run races and have fun! We hope this experience leads to meeting new people and developing new friends and new leagues to enjoy.  Our community has a lot of great people in it that are very caring and do a lot for one another.  We hope those that join will continue in this way by  following the rules posted on our Membership page. We want all our members to have fun racing, and knowing how to handle a disagreement is an important part of it.

  About Mike Baker

Mike Baker served in U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S John R Perry pictured here as it arrived in the Azores.  His travels in the Navy took him to Azores, Vietnam, Hawaii, Bermuda, Cuba, and Japan. During Mike’s sonar school training in Key West, Florida, he manages to pick up a weekend short track ride and race at Stock Island Key Speedway.

After leaving the service, Mike worked for the Xerox Corporation out of Springfield, Illinois.

Eventually, Mike moved out west to Phoenix, Arizona where he met and married his wife, Cathy.  Together they relocated to the State of Michigan, where Mike began a career installing, troubleshooting, and instructing the use of CO2 Industrial Lasers and programming the CNC equipment.  Mike traveled the U.S. Canada, Europe and Egypt working with French and Egyptian engineers.

Mike was offered a position to work for G.M. in Flint, Michigan at Delco Electronics

While working at Delco Electronics, Mike programmed the first globally implemented Windows Client Server Application used by Delco Electronics and General Motors.  It was programmed in assembly language, C and Visual Basic.  Mike was featured in May/June 1994 Electron magazine for his work on the Return Analysis Tracking System.  Mike worked on many interesting projects, which included the Heads-Up Displays for automobiles and marine. One of his projects included all the control software of the heads-up display for Steven Forbes' yacht, the Highlander.  If you visit Disney World and see the golf carts the staff uses to get around the park, you might notice a small display overhead which is a heads up GPS system that Mike designed all the test equipment and programs around.

After relocating to Tennessee, Mike continues his programming career as programmer/ analyst at a major health care provider.

Mike’s hobbies over the years included anything with speed, whether it be 4 legged, one horsepower, to two wheeled crotch rockets to 4 wheeled Dune buggy.

His horse had an Earnhardt attitude as she passed any horse that dared to be ahead of her, she would hit the other horse with her rear end, putting them in the ditch. Many riders, including Cathy can testify to the fact this horse did not like another horse in front of her and not only would she attempt to knock you in the ditch, but cover you with dirt and gravel that flew from her back feet. She was extremely fast and every time we went riding with a group, someone always wanted to challenge her, only to get left in the dirt. Now Mike's racing is enjoying the online racing, after all, if you crash on your computer, all you have to do is reboot.
